The students in this History class are prompted each day with a question or a statement that they are to respond to. Sometimes the topics will be based on current events and sometimes on events from the history book. Below are some of the topics and their responses. If you want to respond to any of the questions or statement of the students.. feel free to do so.

NO!!!!!!!!! This is the United States NOT Mexico.
What National Anthem is this?
It's the national anthem of The United States of America! The default language is English.
The National Anthem to be such MUST therefore be in ENGLISH!
and .... do not change the words either. If it is in another language or the words are changed it is no longer AMERICA'S NATIONAL ANTHEM!
In 1931 the Congress of The United States of America enacted legislation that made "The Star-Spangled Banner" the official national anthem.
The legislation did not make multiple languages athe "Offfical National Anthem".
IMHO - There would have to be legislation to offically add other languages, and it would not be an antham with other meanings.
Thank YOu Thank You THank YOu richies world is wright on the money. And Francis Scott Key didn't write our national anthem is spanish...no he wrote it in English which is what we as Americans speak. I bet he rolled over in his grave when this ubsurd idea of making The Star Spangled Banner in Spanish.
I "TRULY" think that this nation has gone too far to appease every group of people.
If there is a spanish Nat'l Anthem what about creating a spanish version of the Pledge of Allegance?

No! The language that we Americans speak is english not spanish. I think if you want to come and live in America then you should learn the native language.
No the anthem should not be in spanish the anthem is for America not for any other country. If you dont know english than you should not know the anthem.
No this is the United States National Anthem not the Mexico National Anthem. If they wanna come over here to our country then they can say our anthem in our language we shouldnt change it.Keep it in English
I don't think that the national anthem should be in spanish. I believe that if you come to America from another country, like Mexico, then you should learn the language of this country. Instead there are people having to learn Spanish to be able to communicate. This is a America and I think that the anthem should remain in our native language.
